Be sure to keep the response constructive & positive, employers like people who respond to tough situations with a good mindset. Avoid finger pointing & giving off a negative/blame culture type approach. These things happen, it's important you focus on how you respond to the situation and what value you can add to the future employer!

To stay positive when you are not getting any job as a fresher or you are layed off from your company. Do not stop learning, even if you failed in any interview it doesn't you don't have any skills, it's just you are not a perfect match for their requirements. I've never been laid off. I've fired companies who refuse to listen. This is not an option though for everyone. In IBM, my nickname was the "Terminator" because so many C-suite CISOs were terminated for self-assessing PCI, SOX and HIPAA requirements with a passing score only to find they had been hacked, then brought us in only to find they were so far out of compliance, and they were really not very secure at all. Best thing I can advise is stay positive and on your next resume, write in your skills and learn. In the middle of adversity lies opportunity. Life doesnt always go our way. So when it doesnt, rewire your mindset and focus on what you can learn from it and plan your next steps. This is much better than worrying and going into a pessimistic mindset, which achieves nothing. There are some things out of your control, so focus on what you can control. Take this time and opportunity to recharge and refocus. Talk to people, figure out what your next best steps are. It is only a matter of time you land another job, so dont doubt yourself. A couple of months of years later, you will be thankful all of this happened.

Worst case, you may bomb the interview, but you will have lots of takeaways. Also, you are under no pressure to be influenced by the outcome of the interview and can make a well-informed choice without external influences, because you are not actively looking.
