one of the most important and challenging aspect is accepting the change, as change requires some work which one does not has habit of doing. So if QA works lack innovation, one should always be ready and sometimes look for the things to change. For instance if the product we test is B2B then in some cases it might not require much of security testing , but involving some aspect of security might help, since it will open door to new process and you might find something useful in it.

Learning is a continual effort and one should be ready to learn new things even from the juniors, since sometimes the legacy work which we do might be done in a better way if we have a fresh set of eyes, for instance an experience person of 10 years might know less about AI or ML than a fresher who has just finished his course with AI ML for an year.
