What do you do if your R&D professionals are underperforming?

I provide them with appropriate training and conduct appropriate tests and evaluations for their progress. I want them to increase their ability to carry out projects to solve challenges in better ways. In my opinion, new members should join the team every six months so that the old people can express themselves in spite of them, so that they can find a sense of competition towards each other, which will improve and strengthen their performance.

Not catching up with the trending technologies. 2. The work culture being expecting unrealistic expectations. 3. Overpromising and underdelivering. 4. Not able to do continuous learning. 5. Absence of an effective Mentoring. 6. Complicating the problem rather than identifying the root cause of the problem. These are few of the other insights and rectifying these can help in becoming good at R&D and to scale.
