You can always count on them being built upon the standards and fundamentals of their core language. Learning the fundamentals is key! It will ensure that you can easily adapt with the changes, immerging technologies and languages. In the long run, it's always going to help you immensely.

Don't underestimate the power of foundational knowledge. It's like building a house; if the foundation isn't strong, it doesn't matter how beautiful or advanced the rest of the structure is, it won't stand the test of time. Similarly, in the tech world, trends and tools change rapidly, but the core principles remain the same. So, invest time in mastering the basics, it will pay off in the long run by making you adaptable and resilient in the face of change.
