First of all, walk in like a superstar graphic designer that you are. Show them not only your own work but also what you see in other cool project you love. Show them what epic concepts you would love to create in the future. It helps the interview imagine as you are someone who wants to grow!

Tell stories about how you overcame obstacles by coming up with creative solutions, and don't hesitate to show off your love for design. Showcasing your best projects and takeaways demonstrates your flexibility and growth mentality as a graphic designer.

I prefer a transparent approach to my professional life. Whether it’s my active job or freelance work, I respect my employer and clients enough to show them the real person they hired. I feel like if you’re hiding who you are it could give the impression that you’re hiding something or not being honest with details and that could lead to other problems later.

Tell them what you love which includes Music, Movies, Shows you watch, Cartoon and most importantly your hobbies. Tell them what inspires you day to day even if it's not directly related to design.

1. Avoid downplaying yourself, show them you're confident. 2. Do not complain and rant about your previous employer too much that they become uncomfortable. 3. Do not hesitate to ask questions about the job, team, culture and just the company as a whole. 4. Do not say you want job just to pay your bills, show them that you are really interested in working with them. 5. Do not be closed off. Show them your personality.

If it's a designer interviewing me, I would definitely say I am a unique designer, who can make excellent looking graphics without using Helvetica fonts. 🙃
