You don't have to read every new vulnerability or regulation that comes out, but going and talking to the person on your team who does GRC when you are in Threat Intel will make you better. If you're a SOC Analyst work to understand how your IAM Admins work, have a chat with your Directors and VPs on how business decisions are made and understand that technical features are not the only reason tools and processes are implemented.
