What are effective methods for learning cloud computing?

Like you can explore some basics of cloud for example what are the services offered by public clouds, networking in cloud computing, how cloud hosting works, security, implementation etc. are important points which everyone should learn and understand clearly. You can read it through any one of the major cloud provider's official websites.

I always coach my mentees to START with one cloud and once you learn that one, the next one will be easier. You should learn as much as possible as many companies are hybrid and multi cloud infrastructures. It is important to keep learning and reviewing even the cloud technology you have already learned as updates and changes are made often. This is why most certifications have to be renewed every 3 years.

Before learning each hyperscaler specific technology, first it is important to understand how and why cloud came to prominence. Traditional IT, before cloud, was too slow and process heavy. Cloud provides agility (read on-demand and automation enabled), efficient usage of resources (virtualization) and self provisioning. Once these concepts are understood, it become easier to approach cloud learning. As most of features and capabilities are fairly similar across each cloud provider.
