Although I agree with this, would have loved it to be termed Quality only and not Quality Assurance. This could have brought the context that quality assurance need to be paired with robust quality control in order to ensure a high Product/chemical quality is produced. Quality control are the activities company carry out internally or inprocess to ensure products are manufactured to specification. On the other hand, Quality assurance is more concerned with giving assurance to customers and the outside world that a company can produce product of highest quality-eg ISO 9001 accreditation. Research has shown that getting these accreditations although it will increase sales, it does not automatically translate to an improve in product qulaity

Supplier relationships or partnerships are so important these days to ensure the plant produces products of the highest quality in a cost effective manner with little disruptions or stoppages due to unnecessary breakdowns. A supplier who is available 24/7 to offer technical support is key to the success of the business
