In my experience, achieving LEED Zero Water requires a thorough assessment of the whole water management system starting from the management of the water source (rivers, creeks, boreholes), how it can be sustained and maintained, the treatment process, the piping system to prevent water losses(NRW) as well as the implementation of sustainable water harvesting system that can sustain livelihood in the communities, especially for pacific island nations where climate change is the main challenge faced.
