The software nowadays is so complex, that the Planners are more Software´s operators than Project Planners, The new software is too powerful and only a arduous work of understanding the project and a good understanding of the software, allows to take advantage of all the new features of the software and get the maximum that the project requires.

In my experience the integration between many tools will be efficient to reduce many issues: 1- clashes between all disciplines. 2- issue on site because all problems already sorted before site execution. 3- the abortive work due to any problem. 4- time wasting - while all the above points will consume time and efforts.

In Road Projects in India, Generally people practice like made 1 master plan just for submission through a software and then monthly planning in excel based as per site conditions and resources.
