Once the template is proven and tested for couple of quarters, this is the time to push the gas. If template has mistakes they will be repeated in multiples and that is where things go south.

Sometimes, it is too early to scale up without diagnosing or overestimating the bandwidth of the organization. Not developing the capability of the organization to handle many projects /products/customers and employees as well. There is too much reliance on the market and operational activities and less focus on financial aspects like working capital requirements and control of cost. All the above common mistakes can be minimized by balancing growth and efficiency through proper measurement systems and reviews by the leadership team.
