Je pense que nous devrions plus nous concentrer sur comment créer des tissus sans pour autant chaque fois utilisé le recyclage. C'est super de recycler mais il faut changer la base si nous voulons réellement changer les choses.

Enable the supply value chain - There are many MSME enterprises that are part of the supply chain in the textile industry.( Row material suppliers, manufacturers of dyes and chemicals etc) Suport by stakeholders at all levels Farmers, manufacturers, fashion designers to Fashion brands in the industry for these MSMEs in reducing the carbon footprint is essential. It is possible by partnering to improve processes. Ex- how fibers are grown, spun, treated,dyed, woven, manufactured and ultimately sold at retail outlets. 2. Focus and adopt new technology - with the advent of new technology, it may be possible to reinvent the entire life cycle of fabric.

Staying local when it comes to production as much as possible. Whenever shipping or flying overseas- it adds to the carbon footprint. Using 100% organic cotton sounds great on a hang tag but the reality of something flown to 3 different countries from start-to-finish product is no where near as sustainable as buying vintage.
