No matter what stage of your career you're in, you can also be a positive mentor for someone who is on earlier steps of a similar journey. In fact, you can also be a "reverse" mentor for someone more senior and add value by helping challenge ideas and bringing in different perspectives.

One thing I've found helpful is to focus on building deep, meaningful connections with a select few who truly understand and appreciate strategic thinking. Quality relationships often open more doors than a vast but superficial network.

In all your networking efforts, professionalism, respect, and authenticity should be your guiding principles. Remember, successful networking is not just about what you can gain but also about what you can give. This could be in the form of shared knowledge, resources, or simply your time and attention.
