sometime back while I was staying in one of the high rise buildings in Dubai, I saw a bunch of workers cleaning the glass facade of an adjacent building hanging precariously on ropes in parallel which were connected to an array of pully on top of the building. the process was very time consuming as they were working with utmost care which was understandable. I was just wondering if we could have either a drone based or a climbing robot with a sticky feet on glass solution with a robotic hand to swipe the whole facade from top to bottom or from left to right (programmable length and direction parameters of course and sensors/cameras for cleanliness and the edge ). Four of these in unison working together can finish the job really fast.

Today to do painting of high rise buildings require elaborate scaffoldings to be constructed for the whole facade of the buildings. Swarm of drone robots carrying paints can do spray painting in a programmable fashion, it will have the capability to decipher between the surface area of wall to be painted and other surfaces on the same plane. challenge will be the lifting power of the drone vis-a-vis the weight of the paint it has to carry in one go. of course it has to do multiple sorties to finish a job. Same concept can be used for spraying seeds or for pollution control by capturing( sucking outside air) carbon dioxide/monoxide/ with chemical reaction on board the drones which produces oxygen and water

In the next 5 years, probably there will a Biohybrid Cognitive AI chatbot sitting in the place of an Independent Director/Non executive Director as a BOARD MEMBER which will be loaded with all the info regarding the company ( whatever an ID is supposed to know) , it will also be loaded with multiple different scenarios or case studies of corporate happenings across the world in its database. In the board meeting it will listen intently whatever is being discussed and can give its opinion as an ID. Now the accuracy of the opinion will be dependent on the breadth( no of various cases or scenarios) and the depth of the complexity of the cases and the outcomes those are loaded in its database.
