Help him / her with prioritisation of the jobs in hand depending on criticality ( business critical) Also help your colleague to practice it in future 2. Train him / her in multi tasking . Which is quite important to manage many items at a time 3. Train your colleague or help him,/ her to say ' NO " if he is genuinely getting overwhelmed by assigned tasks.( But make sure , overload is not a perception but a reality)
