Pneumatic movers use compressed air, are simple & cheap, but may not be very accurate & can be noisy & use lot of energy. Each has its pros & cons, so pick one that fits your robot's needs best. Connect it to the internet for more capabilities, let it see things better with advanced vision, & ensure it's safe & follows rules. Make it work well with other technologies, consider humans in design, & always look for ways to improve

I disagree, well engineered mechanical details or end stops can give pneumatics plenty of accuracy for most applications. Pneumatic actuators when used properly in a system can reduce the cost of a system.

The only workaround I’ve come up with so far is to pull out the .script file, strip all the extra stuff, then pull it back in - might need to add a def and end statement just to make it a function call. Can’t try this right away, as I have to get through some of our network security protocols to move stuff back & forth from my PC to the robot.

Uma grande dificuldade em projetar, implementar e programar sistemas robóticos está na imprevisibilidade, principalmente, dos mecanismos de hardware, sejam sensores, atuadores, baterias, etc. Durante minha trajetória programando robôs para competições nacionais e internacionais, lidamos com algumas problemas em hardware que consumiram muito tempo para serem contornados via software. Exemplo: durante a utilização de um sensor de giro, em algum momento durante a partida, ele perdia a referência e e tendia ao infinito, com seu valor subindo mais e mais. Resultado: o robô usando PID baseado no giro começava a girar sem parar, literalmente do nada. Precisamos contornar isso via software.
