To foster a supportive environment, I actively encourage feedback, addressing concerns and adapting the approach as needed to keep everyone engaged and comfortable with the transition.

Understand the technology yourself first before telling the workforce they will have this new awesome tool that’s going to make their performance improve and maybe make their lives easier. By knowing the ins and outs of the technology, you’ll be able to lead the team through the implementation, training and improvement of the technology. Listen to their concerns and be ready for many, depending on the receptiveness of the employees. I’ve recently been on the skeptical side of new data collection tools and until I sat down and learned how it worked and what the outputs were, I just didn’t get it. Fortunately a smart person helped me through, and now I’m a believer.
