Sometimes, stress originates from personal mistakes like sleeping late, unhealthy lifestyles, and unfitness. As a colleague, we have to keep them positive. How? 1. Promote Gratitude and Positive Thinking: * Share stories of gratitude and blessings within the team. * Encourage mindfulness practices to focus on the present moment. * Organize team-building activities that foster positive relationships.

To boost productivity and morale in a stressed team, prioritize open communication and active listening. Encourage regular breaks, promote work-life balance, and foster a supportive environment where team members can share concerns. Provide clear goals, offer recognition for achievements, and create opportunities for skill development to empower individuals.

Stress induced by fixed deadlines shackled to a scope in flux should be the exception. When they are, work with the team to vent (constructively), regroup, and identify success options. When this dynamic is persistent, enlist help from above. If peer-to-peer renegotiation on high is possible, communicate that success to the team and move ahead thankful for organizational flexibility. If renegotiation is not an option and your team still pulls off a miracle, throw a party (offsite) and recognize your lieutenants and troops.

First thing to do will be to talk openly on why they are feeling stressed. It can be any or a combination of long hours, lack of skill, uncertainty, aggressiveness of a particular person, lack of role clarity, no clarity on career progression, etc. It is easy to solve for something which is not the real challenge and that must be avoided by asking what is causing the stress. Once we understand, we can solve for it or at least mitigate it. Additionally, team members can be coached on stress management techniques like chunking, unwinding from work, vagus nerve exercises, etc.
