It's your job as the leader to bring awareness/presentation/guest speakers. It keeps the meetings fresh and at the end of the set period (month/quarter/6 months) you've covered a lot of material and have kept your team engaged. If you leave it up to them and "assign" it to an already full workload, it will be watched in the background of another task. People usually want to learn and grow, what they don't want, is another to-do.
