Gained experience in most or all aspects of managing the HR function within an industry and or multiple industries and or gained in-depth experience in a particular sub function within the HR function is more of a stepping point for one to start the career is consulting. Ability to understand the client's requirements and offering appropriate, yet practical solutions which befit the organisational context would become the minimum expected functional capability.
