As someone who has managed teams, delivered to clients and faced resource constraints, i can suggest three ideas: 1. Prioritize: Define criteria to prioritize clients and also deliverables. Identify dependencies, plan resources and sequence of execution. 2. Form task-forces: Combine forces from different teams to manage crisis. This helps in giving exposure, cross training and talent identification. 3. Involve client: One excellent method i learnt from top consultants is it is wise and sustainable to involve clients in solution. Of course this has to be done carefully and as a plan and not as areaction to a crisis. Clients appreciate it as they feel they are part of the solution and can take it forward once consultants leave.
