For example, Project Management skills set, knowledge and effective delivery of projects in Oil and Gas can be transferred to the Renewable Energy space. Sustainability considerations are as apt in renewable energy space when we are considering the impact of large acreages of solar farms to the requirements for reforestation to reduce the impact of global warming potential of emissions from oil and gas project. One reduces the carbon footprint while the other might be compact but with a huge global warming potential from emissions.

Renewable Energy companies are out here looking very hard for good people and your experience has value. Once, at a conference, I was asking a question to a panel on workforce development and just mentioned I had a masters degree in renewable energy and over 10 years experience in oil and gas.
