I have not managed any team before, but if I am facing such a situation, I would start by setting clear, achievable goals. This way, everyone knows what they're working towards and can stay focused. I would also break down big tasks into smaller, manageable ones so the team can track progress easily. Celebrating key milestones along the way would keep spirits high and reinforce a sense of accomplishment. This approach not only makes the work feel less overwhelming but also provides clear guidance through the complexities.

When your team knows why we want to hit certain goals and what those goals are, it makes development a lot easier. They all know what they're working towards instead of just "get this done because I said to". It can make it more personable to each developer

Providing resources like courses or time to explore different approaches would be the key in my opinion. I would try to divy up the tasks or problems to the engineers that have the most capability. I wouldn't give someone a task that I couldn't think they could handle in a reasonable timeline. I would also try to build others strengths by giving some of the less skilled devs a tougher problem and see how they do. I think its important to give people a chance to shine.

Its very important to give credit where its due, and also make sure people know they can and should ask for help. We're a team and being on a team means you help one another. The more teamwork being done the more each member on the team learns and grows.
