One things that’s I think it will be helpful is to relook the final outcomes or the values proposition of the research. At the end of the most important is the pivot is worthwhile and how much it improves the outcomes. If it is just about timeline, and needed more resources, I think we need to communicate timely to the stakeholders and convince them with your innovative approach to the problems. I believe any research will not be novel if everything can work in accordance plan. Everyone should understand this matter.

The R&D projects are always like that, you get hurdles. You need to access the situation, and take help of experts and our team. That helps to get very good brain storm results as well as accessing to move ahead to get results. My experience with cross-functional team is very good. The past employee or other collaborative efforts can help.
