I also have one of the team member talk about some positive or happy story for 1-2 minutes. 2. After the assigned nurse gives quick report, I discuss and ask her/him what is their plan of treatment for today! I show interest in knowing their input in patient care. 3. I discuss what is my plan and why I am making these decisions. I open the floor for Q & A sessions. I also invite questions from parents or other caretakers at bedside.
