Well im never being on film interviews but sound exited … I’m a hairdresser in my world is all about dressing chick and comfortable .. I will definitely will wear block color with bright colors touch either blouse, shoes or accessories.. hairs well done and don’t forget your best confidence smile 😃.. and listo ✅

You should wear clothing that you feel comfortable in that matches your personality. Of course you want to wear clothing that is not overtly sexual because mindful you are still in a working professional environment.

Think BRAND. It depends on what vibe you want to convey for that particular interview. What is the underlying message, and what is the desired subconscious response? Do you want to build trust? Go traditional, conventional, tailored. Do you want to inject vibrance and dynamism? Maybe go for something colourful and top it off with accessories that accentuate and individualize. If you're an actor, you might want to style yourself quite differently to the character you portray in the movie you're being interviewed about. Suffice it to say, you want it to be an authentic version of you and your brand, whatever that might be.

As a film professional dress code is important if you are going for an interview smart casual is the way but if you are in work environment on a film set as a makeup artist you don't wish to draw attention to yourself so dark color clothing is preferred so you can blend in the background to don't be a sore eye for the actors to distract them.Casual and comfort is the biggest choice due to long hours work wearing comfortable clothes and shoes is important.

As a crew member I never dress to impress but rather to be comfortable in my clothes. Working with makeup and sfx products dark colors are the colors of our choice is easy to look after and stain resistant.

As our work is long hours comfortable and weather proof shoes are a must. Waterproof boots for winter or rainy season and trainers for summer allows me to stand long periods on my feet. Soft shoes can save your feet from blistering.

You always want to look your best! I would go a couple of weeks before to get your hair trimmed and possibly some color and or highlights done. Go to Nordstrom and have someone in the brand you like, update your makeup. While you are there, have someone help you pick out a new outfit that looks great on you! Having someone else’s perspective can enhance your outlook and get you out of your own habit of what you’re accustomed to. Best of all, it will build your confidence and that will shine through!! Remember to turn off your phone and eye contact, smile and let your natural personality shine through! You got this!!

Personal grooming is highly important and I must add oral hygiene for makeup artist. Working so close to someone's face you ensure your hygiene and personal grooming spot on. Your hair and skin, nails are clean, wear little perfume with no strong smell just to smell nice without overpowering as you will be at vey close distance from someone's face. You can wear makeup of your choice ensure that you look presentable and you have a fresh breath.
