To prevent equipment failure under intense operational pressure, I employed predictive maintenance techniques during a project in a textile manufacturing plant. By using machine learning algorithms to analyse historical data, I predicted which machines were likely to fail under increased workloads. This allowed us to schedule maintenance during short breaks in production, avoiding breakdowns that could compromise both safety & production targets. In one instance, this approach prevented a critical failure in a high-speed loom, which could have led to significant downtime & potential injuries. Predictive maintenance ensured the machinery remained safe & operational without causing delays.

In my view, safety should be an embedded part of all activities. In a rushed situation, it is essential to manage with an overall perspective. From my experience, any broken safety protocol can lead to even tighter deadlines and setbacks in the project." Safety should never be compromised, even when under pressure. Clear planning and prioritizing safety help teams stay on track and avoid risks that could cause delays or harm.
