From my personal experience, I think its always best to start step by step. Rome was not built in a day so indeed you will have to start from basics. Brush-up concepts of Python, R etc whatever technology you are using. After that slowly you can dive deeper into domain-specific data analysis techniques to align with your new role's industry. Prioritize learning data engineering principles to manage large datasets efficiently. Explore recent advancements in AI and machine learning for cutting-edge solutions. Engage with data science communities & forums to stay updated with the latest trends and tools. At the end of the day your main aim must be to "LEARN" and apply the knowledge and not just impressing others.
