There must be a CFT team and should review all the errors in Processes and take corrective as well as preventive actions.

Value Stream mapping is the simple tool to optimize the material flow .It helps to identify the waste in the process and helps in elimination of waste. Material flow optimization can easily be achieved by VSM. Following process is adopted for the VSM: 1. Map the current Process is called as current state 2. Identification of Value added, non-value added and essential value-added activities. 3. Apply ERCS (Eliminate, Reduce, Combine , Simplify) approach to charter a action plan. 4. Once action is completed it is time to dtaw the future state and implement the actions. 5. Implement the action plan. 6. Do periodic review and measure the effectiveness.

First step is to make sure that the process is clearly defined and followed (Standard Work) The standard will be the baseline which has to be measured and quantified. (Time study, numbe of touches, process cost, distance, etc) With these is place there are different tools to improve, kaizen, vsm map, heijunka/balancing, 5s to identify and eliminate waste

The first step you need to understand is the product itself and it's process. Map the current system or review current SOP/SOI. The second step is to analyse your work flow and identify inefficiencies. Talk to your employees and get their input as well. The third step would be improve and implement new changes. This could be a simple a step such as introducing a LEAN system.

Although all have some kind of inventory relevant to production, more often, there will be “extra components due to design changes or change in client requirement; this leading to additional components in the warehouse over a period of time. Although we get variation order approval from client, these components become zero value in the compny books (- warehouse cost). So periodically the firm should have a policy to offload such components suitably in the following project production or sell off as spares at discounted prices. This leads to savings in both production cost as well income due to discount sale as “other income” for the company

Los materiales deben fluir, en la cantidad mínima posible, en el menor tiempo posible, con el mínimo posible de interrupciones, con el mínimo posible de defectos o reprocesos.
