Even the most disciplined and well intentioned person has limited time to invest in providing meaningful support. Early in my career I made the mistake of spreading myself too thin by trying to make ad many connections as possible. While trying to offer value to everyone I was unable to make a meaningful connection with anyone. When I shifted my mindset to focus on providing more value to fewer people my satisfaction and success grew. Try to match your core value proposition with those who have the capacity and propensity to benefit from a relationship.
