To choose a good 3D modeling software, the first step is I think to try to answer to several questions such as for instance: - do I need a high level quality design that will be manufactured ? Or « only » some visual results (pictures, animations) which may not need to be manufactured ? - do I need to collaborate (in one click ?) with some CAE expert to simulate my design and to validate it ? Or do I only need to be able to create easily a prototype so put it « on the table «  to be seen by a customer ? - will I work alone ? Or in a team ? Etc…

I think choosing the best CAD software to use for a given project revolves on the needs to be addressed, personal preferences as well as expertise in use of a given CAD software. Other factors include the ease in which a given CAD software allows collaboration among teams as well as file storage and security.

Depende del cliente, en mi experiencia cada software CAD tiene ventajas, por ejemplo CATIA es el mejor en el manejo de superficies, CREO en la parte de parámetros y NX pienso que es el mejor ya que reúne ambas características.

Do the research up front and find what will work best for your entire workflow, not just a small portion of it. The worst thing you can do is have several pieces of software that don't speak the same language, and end up paying for more "translation" software down the road.
