Every automotive industry is trying to be different from the predecessor or breaking away the standard norm. We can see this from China made cars which has evolved tremendously. Keeping some traditional aesthetics may be good for the older generation who are migrating into new tech but the evaluation should be for the majority users and what is the acceptance of modern technology that will benefit them in the long run or for the future.
