Well now this is important... Just my few cents. Earlier the tenure of employees was long so, people were able to grasp the process and pass out to next generation. But now the employee tenure is about 3 to 4 year. Now we left with very few people in organisation who knows the entire process or even functional process. So, it becomes necessary for us to define the global standards so that organisation can just follow these.

Prioritize Key Feedback: Focus on user insights that directly enhance experience. Keep Up with Trends: Regularly review industry updates and new design practices. Test and Iterate: Continuously prototype to integrate feedback without losing standards. Balance Flexibility with Structure: Adapt designs creatively while aligning with essential standards. Involve Stakeholders Early: Get input from all parties to blend innovation with best practices. This approach helps you stay both user-centered and industry-aligned.

to Balance user feedback and industry standards translating user needs into design principles that drive innovation is required. By crafting modular design systems (Atomic for example), you can rapidly test new ideas and validate them against both trends and usability metrics. I focus on proactive iteration, weaving user insights into flexible frameworks that set trends rather than follow them in case there is not a huge first player in the industry.
