I want to recommend a book here which I feel distills all the best approaches to technical troubleshooting and problem solving. The book is called “Debugging. The 9 Indispensable Rules for Finding Even the Most Elusive Software and Hardware Problems” by David J Agans. I used this book when I was working in semiconductor test and it was invaluable!

Ao definir problemas com maestria, não nos contentamos com sintomas superficiais. Mergulhamos na essência, buscando a causa raiz da falha. Essa busca profunda nos leva a questionamentos perspicazes, como: Por que esse problema ocorre? Quais fatores contribuem para sua persistência? Existem falhas de design subjacentes? Há limitações tecnológicas que precisam ser superadas? Muy cierto gracias a esto se puede innovar llegar a nuevos métodos, soluciones gracias a herramientas, tecnologías existentes o que podemos desarrollar para poder dar solución a problemas bien sean únicos o continuos para necesidades particulares o generales.

É interessante sempre pensarmos além do esperado, sempre podemos encontrar outras soluções se decidirmos ir além do básico. Apresentar novas soluções faz bem para todos os envolvidos

Tanto simular y analizar mejoran los diseños , el armar prototipos o montar circuitos y testarlos siempre ayuda a mejorar los resultados, cada vez hay mejores software de simulación pero al montar en físico se encuentran algunas diferencias, y así nuevos retos a enfrenar y encontrar nuevas soluciones , gracias a estas herramientas podemos mejorar los circuitos para poder brindar mejor calidad y efectividad de los diseños.

Apos implementar uma nova solução é recomendável uma analise dos resultados. Pensar quais os benefícios adquiridos com a nova solução permite avançar ou propor outra solução.

Like other creations, when many creation begins they were very old and started being developed because of the improvement of the technology. Here is actually what we need to do, we develop our prototype and innovation every so often once we think we need to produce new version.

One thing to add here is one should be good/master the skill of identifying the root cause of any given problem. Without identifying the root cause any problem solving techniques will go in vain. I would suggest one to use either 5 Why analysis or fish bone technique to do the same. Once the root cause is identified list down probable solutions to fix the problem and quantify the solution based on cost/time required to implement it and Effectiveness/Efficiency of the solution outcome. Simulate the same to strengthen your analysis and test it in a pilot version to check the results. Improvise it if required,Record it as lessons learnt and Roll it out to further projects.
