So true. Ours is a cyclical business - some cycles have such short downtimes (I’m thinking about you, industrial space) that we forget about them. But they exist and the most important thing is to weather the storms. Let others bail out- stay in the industry, enhance your network and survive in the downtimes. The survivors remember each other when the cycle turns toward the positive.

Balancing my work and personal life was also crucial during this time. The stress of the market could have easily taken a toll, but by setting clear boundaries and prioritizing self-care, I maintained my focus and energy. Regular exercise, time with family, and unplugging from work when needed helped me stay resilient. A well-balanced life is essential for long-term success, ensuring that you have the stamina to thrive in your career without burning out.

Saber equilibrar la vida laboral y la vida personal es algo muy importante y contribuye a la resiliencia ya que de cierta manera recarga las baterías y permite tener objetivos que lo motiven a seguir trabajando. Cuando alguien logra disfrutar del trabajo, este se vuelve como una parte de su "vida personal" y esa persona difícilmente se va a rendir. Las situaciones complicadas se vuelven retos y la vida de vuelve un juego. Pero un juego que se juega para ganar, en modo difícil es más entretenido y más satisfactorio cuando se gana.
