This is very concerning issue. First thing is to find out at which level conflicts happened. Is this conflict expected or unexpected. If it was expected then there must be ready solution available with the team. The team is just taking chances. Taking calculated chance is ok but taking chance without any immediate backup is a foolishness. If incase this was unexpected then points to be taken out like: Who are the team members or core person facing conflict? At which stage of the project this has happened? Is it a creative, technical, personal or situational conflict? Is this conflict avoidable? but at what cost? Why this conflict occurred in the first place? Can this conflict resolved by the reporting manager?

Will it require the involvement of the core person? Now whoever is handling the conflict may consider few points while interacting: Unbiased listening not just hearing out. Patience in providing solution not to just give solution then and there. Always prioritise the project because this is not a single person effort but a team effort. Make sure the conflict resolved by the end of the day instead of carry it forward to the next day. If required take harsh decision. In majority of the cases such conflicts suppressed or solved by authoritative remarks, or biased decision, or abusive behaviour. But what is required is to keep every team member's dignity and morals in mind before commenting. "It's ok we can manage" is the best solution.

Something very important thats particular to film is the very long hours, but these hours are very definitive. people get Tired. And tired effects different people diffrently. Some people don't want to work-it makes us cowards. Some people get angry, some people get loopy or sloppy. Which it does may change day to day. It may make you any of these things. Avoid when your tired doing stupid things.

Film is a media sometimes with a lot of diffrent purposes-sometimes your trying to make a lot of money on tickets, on streaming or rating whatever-sometimes your trying to please a producer, sometimes your trying to do this or that-and you may hate these peoples guts. But Someone is watching it, and quality of what they see is important.

In the unit, there will be egos, difference of opinions, clash of sections etc. but anything hampering the project must not be tolerated. Choose your crew wisely, if you get a chance to, with those who are or can be well aligned with your way of communication. at least the heads. mostly conflicts happen due to miscommunication or misunderstanding. give enough freedom to the person in-charge to handle the situation within his/her department. It's better to avoid heavyweights if you cannot handle or control them. If there is a conflict, always try to find common ground between the parties involving them. one thing to be always kept in mind, there is no winning or losing of an individual because everyone loses if we lose the project.
