Un buen gerente, líder, que tenga un equipo a cargo, es también responsable del bienestar de sus trabajadores, eso incluye contención en ciertos casos, la empatía es básicamente colocarse en el lugar de la otra persona y saber comprender sus problemas. Un buen clima laboral es fundamental para un buen trabajo de equipo y siempre como líder se debe dar un buen ejemplo, tener buena disposición a escuchar, tener un comportamiento educado y amable con todo el personal, independiente del cargo que tenga. A veces hay que aprender a contar hasta 10 antes de decir algo de la manera menos adecuada, siempre se debe ser un buen referente y que sea agradable trabajar con nosotros al liderar un equipo.

With EQ, you can understand their motivations, navigate conflict calmly, and keep them motivated. Want to up your EQ game? Focus on self-awareness, seeing things from others' perspectives, clear communication, and managing your own emotions. By developing your EQ, you can build stronger relationships and become a more impactful leader.

All of the Emotional Intelligence types or components fall into either Self Awareness or Social Awareness. Strength in the former is absolutely necessary for development of the latter. Being adept at social interactions would be difficult, if not impossible, if for example an individual cannot control his or her temper. So begin by increasing your own self awareness. Read books on EI / EQ and put the advice to work. Keep a journal. Reflect on your own feelings after meetings, various encounters, stressful situations, etc. This is the path to improving your emotional intelligence, and once you reach a good baseline, your interpretation and fluidity in social situations will vastly improve.

EQ/EI is not only important as an Eng Manager but to every individual. When you have better EQ, you start looking at things differently. You can control your emotions and most importantly understand others.

A veces hay que repetir e insistir en los puntos más importantes para que la comunicación sea lo más efectiva posible y siempre cerciorarse de que se entiendan los conceptos importantes.
