These keep the learner alive to their current and future job demands and career pathways. It’s vital they get the most from their training programme but critical that they select the right one.

Love this, the amount of information, experience and skill that swills around the workplace can probably never be catalogued, but this brings it into the open. Once subject experts are known they should be encouraged to assist and inform your other team members. Ten minute topics or Toolbox talks at staff meetings are a great way to channel this. Companies and individuals always benefit from shared knowledge. If someone leaves your team they will leave behind a knowledge gap, but by encouraging collaborative learning we can minimise the impact of that.

Research is an iterative process where we state a hypothesis, formulate a plan, and then learn. Sometimes we stay the course, and other times we pivot. This is the nature of things. The best way to stay ahead of the game is to have continuous feedback from team members, at all levels. Clear and open communication about what is working, and what is not working is key. Psychological safety is important, as often times junior members are the first people to know that something is going wrong, but the last to speak up. Asking everyone individually for honest and open feedback helps avert disasters down the line.
