Before going into any interview, review your accomplishments and skills and identify 3 - 5 elements of your brand that align with the job description. Be prepared to discuss how your strengths align with the job description with specific examples of how you've used them to get results.

La clave está en identificar y saber exponer en cada ocasión, no lo que haces, sino cómo lo haces. El puesto y las funciones son iguales para todos, pero la manera de desempeñarlas es lo que de verdad te va a diferenciar.

Nothing is more desirable to a hiring manager than a candidate who has all of the skills and experience they need. Make sure you're prepared to speak about those skills and experiences with strong examples and metrics.

You need to be able to articulate and evidence how you can add value and what impact you bring to a business. It's good to be able to quantify your results and efficiencies.

Recently, a candidate impressed me by demonstrating how his skills aligned perfectly with the training role and how he could benefit the organization. He showed confidence and a clear understanding of the role. In my view, here’s what one should do: 1. Be genuine in your answers. 2. Explain how your experience can impact the organization. 3. Highlight the unique skills you’ve learned through your experience. 4. Showcase relevant experience and confidence for the role.

Be prepared for anything that has nothing to do with your job, experience or studies. In my interviews I asked candidates to tell me about themselves that’s not on their resume and they get dumbstruck! They prepared so much and now they don’t know what else is in life but in those two pages. Life and work brings you challenges which is not taught or learnt in the past ! Be prepared, be genuine, be honest which builds trust !
