Cada practica, taller o actividad en el salón de clases debe apuntar a que los estudiantes se acostumbren y porque no, a que les apasione a recabar datos, aplicar métodos y técnicas de investigación para posteriormente en su análisis encontrar información que contribuirá en el conocimiento que contribuiran a la mejor toma de decisiones y desarrollo de mejores estrategias.

A pesquisa nos seus mais diferentes viés traz ao processo educativo uma proposta que diferencia o indivíduo. Ao se pensar nos três pilares da educacao: Ensino, extensão e pesquisa percebemos a importância do desenvolvimento desta última nos mais diversos espaços escolares e em especial no ensino superior.

Don’t be intimidated by the appearance of the ivory tower. Professors and doctoral students are human too and, like most humans, many greatly appreciate your interest in their work! If you feel passionately about a paper they have contributed towards or a research focus in their lab, reach out and express your interest in gaining hands on experience under their guidance. The worst that can happen is they say no. But there is so much incredible research being conducted in any field that if you reach out to enough professors and doctoral students, you are bound to be successful eventually. The key is to not give up. Be persistent when it comes to pursuing your passions, and opportunities beyond your wildest dreams will open up around you.

Industry internships provide you an opportunity to find a fit for your future directions. Industry internships are different from academia/research internships in their scope of activities. While the academia/research internships might be focused on solving paradoxes or find answers for the basic questions, the industry internships aim for marketable product oriented activities, quality control and assurance, marketing and sales etc. Industry pays are much better than academia and that's why one may find many academics switching careers in favor of industry.

En mi experiencia otra forma de comprender las prácticas en la Universidad es a través de las Comisiones de Estudio donde un grupo de estudiantes guiados por un tutor abordan un caso práctico en una organización real. En estos últimos meses estuvimos haciendo esta experiencia con un grupo de estudiantes de la Licenciatura en Administración aplicando herramientas de diseño organizacional en una fundación.
