The very and most interesting thing about language is the cultural background. It's always very important to understand the meaning of a word within a certain context and a specific cultural context. I would like to give an actual example here where a delegate left a conference because their country was wrongly described as "a weird country" while the speaker meant it's "an exotic country" that is full of wonders and adventures. So, I advise all my colleagues, linguists and professional language providers to keep abreast of the exact meaning of words before using them in the target language.
