Here's how you can steer clear of key logical fallacies in media production.

Be true to your heart, we all know what is right and wrong or at least most of us do. With many of the things we're seeing on collage campuses today, it leads one to think we do not all have the same value structure but with that being said, but we that do have a solid respectful value system should always resist to attack personally but never resist to challenge respectfully, the answer is always in the room.

Fact checking, is very difficult today and one of the reason I enjoy producing Surgical Technique videos. Anatomy and Physiology does not change no matter how one wants to identify themselves. A&P is settled science and is a great framework to work with in, it allows us to produce educational and informational content that is for the most part non-controversial and actually makes a difference in peoples lives, very satisfying.

Peer review is good but only to the point that the Peers are at the same level as the content creator and are not agenda driven. We have this problem in Higher Education, PHD's publishing for Peer Review by other PHD's. It's an echo chamber and after all the reviews are completed and egos massaged we end up with Text Books or Digital Courses that are over the heads of entry level students and those students become frustrated early on and many choose to change their areas of study or drop out of school completely, which is the saddest thing that can happen. Review is only as good as the reviewers.

Edit to a goal. If your goal is to inspire or train it needs to be laced with real world examples of how the education benefits others, what I like to call the clinical connections. A 1st year student in Allied Health not only needs to understand A&P from the science side but also what the benefits are for them learning the materials and the benefits of this knowledge in practical application too provide better healthcare. Think of JK Rowling's Harry Potter novels and how complex the stories and characters are, because it's a well crafted story with natural evolution, young people bing read them and can quote you chapter and verse from each volume. Your story needs a hook with natural flow with a solid resolution.

Colorful exaggeration is fun in fiction; deadly otherwise. Stay centered, embrace clarity and get to the point. Solid writing matters but you can always blame incongruity on Auto-Fill!!!!
