LinkedIn is my favourite and may I say, only social media platform. The reason is twofold: 1. I only have several minutes a day to peruse social media and I greatly prefer the positive vibe on LinkedIn. 2. Having too many platforms can be difficult to maintain. Also, we have seen the negative effects of someone posting rashly and end up regretting it. My tactic is to stick to one platform and nurture it. Better than spreading yourself too thin and not able to develop a strong presence.

Data is really freely available, it's just sometimes not in the place or format that you are looking for.
