May look like a contrarian thought, but in fact a complementary idea: embracing change agressively at every opportunity may not always be the best idea. One must sync pace of change with organization's ability to adapt and meaningfully leverage the effect of change. Thus for increasing the pace of change, a prerequisite might be to remodel the organization itself, that may mean structure, culture makeover. This must also be aligned with vision, strategy, constraints of the organization.

I read this question several times because I understood that, as a business architect, I'm at risk because of technology. In reality, I'm constantly on the lookout for new technologies and tools which will empower me to do something new or easier in business processes. If anything, I'm eagerly waiting for some technology visions to become available. Sure, organizations need capability to reliably roll out (those mythical) 10 changes a day, every day. If this looks scary or impossible, let's look at the process impediments which stand in the way. Let's make it a desirable and realistic goal. Trick is that when you can roll out 10 changes a day, additional changes are easy.
