I make a concerted effort to listen to their concerns, acknowledging the very real anxieties they may have about becoming obsolete, making mistakes, or feeling uncomfortable with new technologies and processes. It's important to reassure them that their value to the organization is not solely tied to their current skillset, but also their ability to grow, adapt, and contribute in new and innovative ways.

For instance, while implementing an RPA initiative for our client, we ensured the end users first of all understand the problem we were trying to solve. This way they could see a clear pain point. In my recent Master's dissertation, which explored fostering ICT skills in primary education to promote innovative teaching methods, I identified a significant challenge: many of the teachers were unaware of the benefits of technology, leading to a lack of relevance and motivation to adopt it. Last year I was stunned to see how my colleagues from one of the world's most admired companies in Singapore have created a robot race to encourage their employees (non techies) to become creative in tech. Winners got to travel to premier global tech event in Las Vegas. The reward was so stimulating that it provoked a widespread participation in the race, moreover great enthusiasm for tech in the firm. Afterwords this greatly contributed to its digital transformation, which was the initial goal. Company regularly celebrates stages in the adoption of new technologies in various ways.
