How can HR Consultants build confidence in leadership?

Si eres consultor, mi sugerencia es focalizarte donde puedes hacer la diferencia para generar valor. Es la mejor manera de generar confianza con los lideres.

I would include to identify their mindset towards leading and how they are addressing weaknesses and feedback. First step is to see how they approach weaknesses, their way of looking at how to work on those and turn them into strengths. It all starts with how they feel about themselves and their path.

As HR Consultants, we should have multiple tools and resources available to assist our leaders in their development. Once that has happened we then begin the work by showing them how to use their leadership style to build and retain a team.

In my experience the leaders are usually aware of the goals but sharing the impact that they have on the teams is what really can make a difference. Once they are aware of their development opportunities, highlighting and adding them to their smaller goals can help. For example, if you are working on building executive presence for your leaders, breaking it down to how they conduct themselves in meetings, in one on one conversations, in presentations, can be a good way to begin.

Customer Perspective:(KPIs) should include customer satisfaction, customer retention, market share, and the organization's reputation 3. Internal Business Processes: measuring key processes for products or services. KPIs may include process efficiency, quality, innovation, and cycle times. 4. Learning and Growth, Employee Perspective: emphasizes on organization's abilities. KPIs for training, development, employee satisfaction, team capabilities, culture.

The HR Consultant should display Leadership. One might want to ask how can a Consultant show leadership in an organization that s/he is not part of? Well, have one considered that you should be in control of the consultancy intervention. The consultant should know what should be delivered, how, when and where to deliver. Remember you are providing the service, they requested for you because they can’t; so don’t allow them to dominate you. Show that you know what you are doing and take the lead.
