O LiDAR na minha opinião precisa melhorar muito no campo de sensibilidade, como por exemplo sensibilidade a pó a chuva ou névoa e etc. São áreas de grande risco que precisaria de uma grande contribuição de um "sensor detector" deste para podemos inserir como exemplo em uma câmera fria de estocagem, A retirada dos humanos destas exposição a baixas temperaturas seria muito benéfica. Like every automation system, the solution domain is dependent on the problem you're trying to solve. You can expect next generation systems to use onboard models to develop primitive proprioception (the sense you use to know where you are in space when your eyes are closed). Inferring inertia from pose and velocity for people around the robots, will unlock smaller clear spaces around automated systems, which will unlock better more functional robotic collaboration. Combined with the ability to interact by voice which is unlocked now by LLM's but not practically integrated in large scale robotic systems, collaboration should be better and more useful in the future.
