I think that's important to remember the mission. The mission is the collective "why" we are in the same place, working towards the same goal. If we can get buy in to that basic agreement, then we can start examining disagreements with the perspective that we are all on the same journey, but trying to ascertain the best route. When we invest so much in the solvency created in our minds, we can demonize different ideas and the people proposing them. The reality may be a better solution via integrated efforts. This is more likely possible with the agreement that we are all on the same side. We all have the same mission.

The fourth step to resolving any conflict is to explore options and solutions. This means brainstorming and evaluating possible ways to address the conflict and meet the needs and interests of both parties. For example, you may compromise on some aspects, accommodate on others, or create a new alternative that satisfies both sides. By exploring options and solutions, you can generate creative and constructive outcomes, enhance your campaign's effectiveness and diversity, and avoid stagnation or deadlock.

Effective leadership is vital. Having a leader that can not only communicate their thoughts, but can also be a facilitator, is invaluable. A leader that can summarize a discussion with "what I'm hearing is" assessments can deescalate, minimizing the negative emotions out of the conversation while preserving the positive passions. Ideally, this can be done without favoring any person's perspective. This kind of leader doesn't require a title. In fact, a room full of them would be invaluable.
