However a lot of times companies continue to develop the product on that initial POC and with time product can overgrown the technology that was used in the beginning, or maybe it can go in totally different direction than initial POC, by then everybody thinks it is too expensive to change technology or that there is no time for that, but in reality it is the cheapest and easiest time to do it because continuing the same path will only make things more complex and harder to change in the future and with that more expensive. Xamarin may be the natural choice for a group that handles C# while React Native or even Flutter would be more apropriate for javascript developers. Unless the best fit in terms of programming language proves to have limitations regarding the app and its features, it doesn't make sense to have the engineers learn a new programming language and delay their capacity to deliver good production code.

What I mean by variants, platform defragmention, which are target users different platform versions, different resolutions, different screen sizes, low, mid, and high end devices, tables, foldables, and for some apps, watch and auto supports. And for some apps for security you might need to test on rooted or jailbreaked devices. No company can afford providing all these variations for each developer and QC to test, so either be selective or use testing farms

If the nature of the app demands support for different OSs, OS versions, devices and manufactures, it can be just impossible to test all conditions. More then a wide range of emulators, simulators, physical devices or even making use of cloud device farms, it's important to add crash logs that allows the team to identify what scenarios should be prioritized when testing the app.
