This kind of investor is usually named "smart money" because is not only a source of funds but also they add value to your business.

A good challenge for a SME is to find the right investor. I personally encourage enterprises to boost their social media channels for attracting talent, also participating in networking events, business fairs & summits, getting associated to a professional business networks, contacting business angels and venture capital funds, participating in investors forums, as a matter of fact, achieving as much visibility as possible.

A quick and visual presentation should be enough for the first contact, with 7 to 10 slides pitch deck. A phone call or video call could be very important if it is possible to contact though this mean of communication to discuss their investing needs, desired ticket and valuation of the company.
